Randomness

Hey everyone! I should be in bed right now but I’m wide awake. I’m not sure quite what it is but I haven’t felt this good in a while!

There has been a lot of financial stress on my wife and I for the past few weeks but we are finally almost back on top! If everything goes as planned within the next seven days we will be completely caught up on all our bills! It will be so nice to not be scared to walk out to the mail box again! That’s probably why I am so perky tonight!

Anyways, I just wanted to say hello to all of my viewers and I wanted to let you know that the Tony that all of you have grown to love is back!

You can be looking forward to new videos on my YouTube account on Thursday. Thats my next day off and except for paying off the cell phone bill I have no plans the whole day. I will defiantly be able to devote some time to getting things back to normal online!

I wish to thank all of you for sticking around with me through this dark time! It means a lot to me to have fans that notice that I haven’t done any videos or new posts and actually take time out to check on me and see if I am alright. Thank you all. I have the greatest fans on the internet!

I also want to give a very special and public thank you to one of my best friends and number one fan: Victoria. I received a Hallmark card from her today at my P.O. Box with a letter written inside.

Victoria, Thank you so much for that card. You have no idea how big of a smile I had on my face when Jes told me I got mail from you today. After reading it I almost got a tear in my eye. I love you to Victoria! Don’t you ever forget that I am just one phone call away if you ever need ANYTHING!

Guillermo Vargas Starves A Dog To Death

So I just heard about this man named Guillermo Vargas through a YouTube video. After doing some research I found out more details about an exhibition he done last year called “Eres Lo Que Lees” (translated “You Are What You Read”)

This “artist” decided to take some random dog he found on the streets, tie it up with a rope in one of the corners of his “art gallery”, and allow this animal to starve to death! Then this man had the audacity to refer to the forced suffering of this animal as “art”! He even wrote the name of this exhibition on the wall with dog food. I am sure this animal loved to smell that as he sat there and starved!

After researching dozens of other sites, articles, and blogs I have come to the conclusion that not only is this so called “artist” a sick, twisted freak but he is also a liar! Statements released by him and Juanita Bermúdez, the director of the Códice Gallery are all saying that this dog was not starved, and that he was well taken care of except for the three hours he was tied up inside the gallery.

Anyone with any amount of common sense can look at the available photos and see just how big of a lie this is! Juanita Bermúdez was even quoted saying “Natividad (the dog) was untied at all times except for the three hours the exhibition lasted, was regularly fed by the artist, and escaped after a day.” My question for all of you is: Does this look like a fed and well taken care of dog to you?

Take a good long look at how sunk in this dogs waist is and notice the scabs up and down his back bone! Look at how he is standing. It looks to me like he is barely standing at all! Why is he just gazing into the corner of the room barely able to life its head? I ask you again, does this look like a fed and well taken care of animal?

Does this picture look like “art” to you? I am absolutely baffled at the fact that a man can do this to a helpless animal and display it in a public “art gallery”.

8th Grader Criminaly Charged

I was watching the 10 o’clock news tonight and seen something that made me laugh…

A middle school student at Morton Middle School in Lexington Ky has been charged with “felony wanton endangerment” because this student put cookie crumbs in another student’s lunch box!

uuummm… What?!? Yes thats right, this 8th Grader is now facing felony charges over cookie crumbs! But, these are not just any cookie crumbs these crumbs are from a cookie containing peanuts, which apparently this other child happens to be allergic to.

A spokeswoman for the middle school named Lisa Deffendall was quoted saying “It was well known that the other student suffered allergies” and also said “There was no known history of problems between the two 13-year-olds.”

So lets make sure we have the facts straight:
1: An 8th grader is being charges with felony because of cookie crumbs placed inside another students lunch box.
2: This other student has commonly known allergies.
3: Last, but not least, there are no known problems between these two 8th graders.

Since when has it ever been possible to turn cookie crumbs into a felony? Considering the other student did not eat the cookie crumbs and there was no allergic reaction, doesn’t the public school system have anything better to worry about? Like maybe the future of the other hundreds of students currently enrolled in the Lexington Ky. school system.

Instead of hearing about new educational goals in the curriculum or new programs to advance the learning of our nations future leaders I’m hearing about cookie crumbs! There is so much going on in the world today, but when I turn on the 10 o’clock news I hear reports about cookie crumbs in a middle school! I feel like precious moments of my life have now been wasted by watching news! Which brings me back to my most famous saying: “Stupid people piss me off!” But at least I can say that I have learned something new: cookie crumbs = felony when used in an improper manner.

Who knows, maybe congress will pass a new law forcing cookie company’s to place a warning label on there containers saying: “Do not used crumbs in any manner other than directed” or something like that.

Wal-Mart Is Cruel Update

I stand amazed right now! The freedom of speech combined with the power of the internet is such an incredible thing. The outcry of all of us online has made a difference in the life of Debbie Shank and all Wal-Mart employees across the globe!

Wal-Mart announced Tuesday that they have changed their decision and will no longer be trying to collect the $470,000 that they sued her for as an attempt to recover the medical expenses the insurance company paid for.

Wal-Mart’s statement, released Tuesday, says. “Wal-Mart will not seek any reimbursement for the money already spent on Ms. Shank’s care, and we will work with the family to ensure the remaining amounts in the trust can be used for her ongoing care.”

It actually gets even better! Wal-Mart has also said: “We have decided to modify our plan to allow us more discretion for individual cases, and are in the final stages of working out the details,” So not only is Debbie Shank going to be able to keep the money that is in place for her care over her remaining years, but Wal Mart has gone in and changed their policy’s to allow for cases like this to be handled properly in the future! How cool is that!

The main reason that Wal-Mart dropped the settlement was because of the bad publicity that was caused all over the internet and other media outlets. The story was released through CNN and MSNBC from there it spread like a wild fire! Dozens of us started making blogs and videos all over the internet to spread the word.

Because of CNN, MSNBC, and all of us exercising our rights to free speech and the power of the internet the Shank family’s lives have been changed for the better and problems like this with Wal-Mart will never happen again. That is so amazing!

Here is what Debbie Shank’s husband Jim had to say: “My thanks go first and foremost to my lord and savior Jesus Christ for the strength to bear up under all this. Thanks also to the citizens of the United States - it wasn’t me who made this happen, it was the outcry of the people, and if there’s a lesson in this story it’s that ‘we the people’ still means something.”

Wal-Mart Is Cruel!

A new story about Wal-Mart has been brought to my attention. I must state ahead of time that I never was a big fan of Wal-Mart due to the fact that (as most men) I really hate shopping, and still to this day I do not understand why they only have a couple lanes open at a time considering they do so much business. I hate waiting in the Wal-Mart check out lane so I usually go out to the car and wait on my wife so I don’t get irritated on the rare occasion that I am actually caught inside a Wal-Mart.

However this story has made me sick to my stomach and I doubt my wife and I will ever set foot in another Wal-Mart again!

This story comes straight from CNN and is about a woman in Jackson, Missouri named Debbie Shank. Who’s son was recently killed in Iraq. She is currently 52 years old and is spending her life in a wheelchair inside a nursing home suffering from short-term memory loss. On top of that they have her in a private room in the nursing home due to “severe mood swings and an tendency to scream” as a result of her injury’s.

Two years after the accident her and her husband actually won a law suit against the trucking company that hit her mini van. She was given the amount of 1 million which left her $417,000 after legal fees. This money was placed into a Trust fund to provide for her care in the nursing home.

The health insurance Debbie Shank had through Wal-Mart paid approximately 470,000 in medical expenses for her accident. Which is exactly what the insurance company should have done since she was employed there and her premium was paid up to date. However this policy did contain a clause saying something to the effect that the company has the right to get back any medical expenses if an employee wins a lawsuit regarding the medical incident.

So here is the problem. She went through a major tragedy and after a lawsuit settlement she actually had enough money to be taken care of but Wal-Mart went after her and has sued her for the amount of $470,000! Yes, Wal-Mart actually sued this lady after every thing else she has gone through!

The sad thing is that she was only able to keep $417,000 so Wal-Mart is going after her for a larger amount than she received so they can get back the medical cost they spent on her through the insurance she was paying for!

It amazes me that Wal-Mart is actually suing this brain damaged handy-caped lady for medical expenses that the Insurance she was paying to have covered. Keep in mind that we are talking about a company so large that they reported net sales in the third quarter of $90 billion in 2007!

They make that much money and are going after Debbie Shank for her medical expenses? Is every single person that works in an executive position at Wal-Mart just a really big dick, or can some one show this lady some compassion?

A man by the name of John Simley (Wal-Mart representative I assume) had this to say when asked about Debbie Shank: “Wal-Mart’s plan is bound by very specific rules. … We wish it could be more flexible in Mrs. Shank’s case since her circumstances are clearly extraordinary, but this is done out of fairness to all associates who contribute to, and benefit from, the plan.”

Did he just use the term “fairness”? Is it fair that Debbie Shank was hit by a semi truck? Is it fair that she can not walk like you and I can? Is it fair that she cant even remember her son was killed in Iraq? Is it fair that a company that makes $90 billion in 4 months is suing a handy caped lady for 470,000? Is it fair that this lady is in a private room in a nursing home randomly screaming as a result of her brain injury’s and Wal-Mart is sitting back, counting there billions, and suing her for more? Is it fair?

Debbie Shank’s Lawyer, Maurice Graham was quoted saying: “We assumed after three years, they (Wal-Mart) had made a decision to let Debbie Shank use this money for what it was intended to,” but do you think that is what happened? NO, come to find out Wal-Mart had every intention of getting every penny out of Debbie Shank that they could!

Last summer the Shank family actually lost the lawsuit from Wal-Mart. Of course the Shank family appealed the ruling, but they lost that also. A week after losing the appeal is when Debbie’s son Jeremy Shank was killed in Iraq. Which due to her memory loss is something that she has to learn about and go through every day of her life! But lets not forget the multi-billion dollar Wal-Mart that has to be “fair” and take every penny they can get from her trust fund for her personal care!

If I was running a multi-billion dollar business and Debbie Shank was my employee not only would I have let her keep the money she won from the trucking company (because she deserved it) but I would have given her even more, made sure she had the best medical treatment possible in the region, and I would also have paid out of my own pocket for her sons funeral!

Debbie Shank’s lawyer Graham said “She’ll never be able to work again. Never have a relationship with her husband or children again. The damage she recovered was for much more than just medical expenses.”

So lets do some math…

The Shank Family was “awarded about $1 million in a lawsuit against the trucking company involved in the crash. After legal fees were paid, $417,000 was placed in a trust to pay for Debbie Shank’s long-term care.” So they had 417,000 dollars. Then Wal-Mart sued for 470,000 dollars which is 53,000 dollars more than what the Shank family was able to keep from their lawsuit. Not to mention the fact that “about $277,000 remains in the trust” so even after Wal-Mart gets every penny out of the Shank’s trust fund Debbie and her husband Jim will still have to come up with 193,000 dollars more! Don’t forget that Wal-Mart themselves said “this is done out of fairness”

Let me ask you (all of my readers) just one question: Is Wal-Marts slogan “Save money. Live better” really worth it? Is it really worth spending our hard earned income in a place that is going to make 90 billion in 4 months and then turn around and take every penny from a brain damaged lady who cant take care of herself? I myself have no intention of ever making another purchase with my money at Wal-Mart!

Bad Parenting

My wife and I stopped at the grocery store today to get some frozen pizza’s for dinner and I came across yet another example of stupid people!

We were walking down the back aisle by the meat department when we noticed a little girl probably 7 or 8 years old walking towards us crying. There wasn’t a single person around her anywhere!

Immediately my wife and some other lady with some kids started walking towards her and was asking her if she was o.k. Also one of the ladies that was working in the meat department came out to check on this little girl. We found out the girl was lost and couldn’t find her mom.

The lady from the meat department walked the little girl up to the front desk of the grocery store and my wife and I followed to see what would happen. The lady at the front desk got on the intercom and said: “First name Last name, your daughter is up here at the front desk.” About 45 seconds later the little girl pointed down one of the aisles toward the back of the store. There was this little girls mother looking at some of the items on the shelf and talking away on her cell phone just like nothing was wrong!

Not to mention the fact that as soon as the employee from the meat department walked the little girl down the aisle to her mother (apparently she was too busy comparing prices to walk up to the front desk and get her) all the mother did was move the cell phone away from her mouth for a brief second, said “thanks”, and then went right back to her phone conversation like nothing had ever happened!

Needless to say I was amazed at the stupidity and carelessness that this mother had with her child. First: She obviously didn’t even notice her little girl was missing. Second: Since when is a phone conversation more important than the well being of any child, especially your own? Third: Was this mother so wrapped up in talking on the phone and grocery shopping that when her first and last name and the phrase “your daughter is up here at the front desk” was said over the intercom she couldn’t stop what she was doing to come to her obviously scared daughter?

Here is the scary part… I was the first person who noticed her all alone and crying. What if I was a kidnapper? Or even worse, what if I was some kind of a pervert or pedophile? What could have possibly happened if I was a horrible person considering I was he first to notice her? If a pedophile would have gotten hold of her first I bet that mother would regret that phone conversation the rest of her life!

Needless to say I was pretty pissed off at this so called “mother” and I can’t seem to understand how a woman could be so stupid and careless as to not pay attention to her own daughter in a public place because she was too busy on her cell phone. What kind of a parent would not notice their own child walking away from them in any public place? To top it off what kind of a parent would not hang up that phone to hug and apologize to there child after they were scared like that?

This is a perfect example of bad parenting and I hope that this woman never has another child considering she couldn’t take care of the one she does have! If this would have been a father or another man instead of a woman I would have gotten up in his face so fast he wouldn’t have seen it coming.

This brings me back to one of my most famous sayings (just ask my wife): STUPID PEOPLE PISS ME OFF!!!

Intelligent Design

I cant wait until Ben Stein’s new movie Expelled, No Intelligence Allowed comes out! I will be at the theater for opening night no matter what!

I am so glad someone has finally stood up and spoke out against Darwinism being taught in schools. I myself am a firm believer in Creation. Not just because of being raised as a Christian but also because Evolution and Darwinism really just doesn’t make sense to me. Yet as soon as I say this in public (as I just have) all of a sudden I am looked down upon and even mocked! Why?

I have yet to see a convincing theory stating that I am a result of a chemical reaction millions of years ago and/or that I came from some puddle and slowly evolved into what I am today. Every theory of this nature that I have read has either been silly or down right retarded to me. So why shouldn’t I believe in Creation? Even if I wasn’t raised up in Christianity why would believing in Creation as a “theory” be any better or worse than believing in Evolution as a “theory”? Shouldn’t I be allowed to believe or dis-believe in whichever “theory” I choose?

What would happen if I walked into a science classroom in a Public School or College tomorrow morning and said: “I believe that Creation is how the world came about and how life started. I also believe that Evolution is a total lie”. I would be removed from that classroom immediately and would be in trouble. Why? Why is my “theory” wrong and yours is right?

All these people did was ask the question “Why?” and look at what has happened to them. Isn’t part of being a Scientist figuring out how things happen, or in this case happened? Why is it so wrong to stop and check out a different angle on the subject?

If someone is investigating something, whether its a Detective investigating a crime or a Scientist investigating a theory, shouldn’t every possible aspect be examined? My big question is: Why wouldn’t a Scientist at the very least “look into” the possibility of Intelligent Design? Can someone even truly be considered a Scientist if they cut corners and over look things as they investigate the universe? Shouldn’t they at lest completely rule out all the aspects before coming to the conclusion that Creation is wrong?

I don’t believe there are any “holes” or flaws in the theory of Creation as it has been taught to me. Yet, all through Evolution and Darwinism I see quite a few “holes”, unanswered questions, and stuff that seems lacking in evidence. (Once again, from the way it’s been taught to me.)

Why can’t Scientists investigate Intelligent Design from a non-biased standpoint? Is this really such a bad thing? Even if we are proven wrong they should at least be aloud to fully investigate our “theory”!
